Find Him. He's not hiding. He's been there all along. Where can He be found? Anywhere. especially in the Bible, at Church, and in Christian literature, Christian TV and radio. Look, seek and find. Confess that you have made mistakes (we ALL have) and have not done Gods will such as not keeping the 10 commandments. Know that there is a holy, higher power, a creator, an all knowing, all powerful, onmipresent present, loving redeemer/Savior=Jesus Christ. Know that Jesus died to forgive our sins and offer us eternal, beautiful life in Heaven. Learn of Him and accept Him into your life. Let Him change you for the better.

If our salvation depended on our own good works and whether or not we had been good enough, then we never could be sure if we were going to heaven. After all, how could you know whether or not you had been good enough? You couldn't.

But listen: You and I will never be good enough! The reason is because God's standard is nothing less than perfection—and you and I will never be perfect. You see, many people think God must have a set of scales or balances in His hand, and He puts our good deeds on one side of the balance and our bad deeds on the other. If our good deeds outweigh our bad deeds, they think, then He will let us into heaven.

But this isn't true. God is pure and holy, and even one sin would be enough to keep you out of heaven—just one. And that is why we need Christ. He came for one reason: to become the perfect and final sacrifice for our sins. When He died on the cross, all our sins were placed on Him. He took upon Himself the sin and punishment we deserve, and He died in our place.

Can we know we are saved? Yes—when we trust Christ alone for our salvation. Ask Christ to come into your life today, and trust Him—and not yourself—for your salvation. Then believe God's promise to you, for it is true: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31).

Protestants have not got self assurance that works get you into heaven, yet- they nonetheless have self assurance stable works are considerable for growing to be a stable, Christ-like society of people who stay in peace and unity with one yet another. many times speaking, it incredibly is the people who're doing stable works who're the somewhat saved ones, whether the works themselves are no longer what makes them saved. so which you are able to answer your question only: stable Protestants spend their time doing stable works, too. it incredibly is the which skill of those works that differs from Catholicism and Protestantism, no longer whether or no longer Christians ought to do stable works. it is not that no longer basically like the adaptation between the Protestant and Catholic Eucharist. The action is an analogous, however the which skill is diverse. Protestants only interpret strikes in a extra symbolic way. All that suggested, all Protestants and Catholics are no longer an analogous and interpretations selection interior of those very great religions, so i'm basically speaking often words. desire this helps!

It's quite simple, actually.... Most people think they have to do it in church, in front of a congregation, but in my opinion, I think it becomes more personal to do it in a quiet spot like your room, so it's more of a conversation between you and Christ. Just tell him that you love him and know that you have sinned and would like to wipe away those sins and become a new creature through him. Tell him of your desire to receive salvation through him and you want him to be there with you in the path of life.
Jesus isn't some big scary unapproachable person. He wants to be your best friend and help you make important decisions in your life. I wish you the best of luck!

Know that Jesus died for your sins. Accept his salvation. Know that the path to his Kingdom is hard and you will stumble at times. But remember he is merciful and will forgive your sins if you ask. May you find your peace and salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. I will say a prayer for you right now.

Jesus said I will remain in those who remain in Me. The only way you can recieve Jesus is through His Word. You have to read your Bible...everyday...daily Bread. Jesus at the last supper or Passover used the symbols of Bread and Wine to exemplify the keys to the Kingdom...Bread was His Flesh and the Bible explains that Jesus was "the Word" and the Word became flesh and the Word was with God and the Word was God and everything that was made was made for Him, by Him and through Him...so that means the Jesus of the NT was God of the OT. There is so much to know and learn but the entire Bible has the truth for you. His flesh is there to become a part of you, just as His blood is there to cleanse us of all our sins and wrong doing. The Keys to the Kingdom of God are within you, He told even the Pharisees who believed in the resurection that the Kingdom of God was within them...as they were keepers of the law and the prophets...it made perfect sense. The law is representative of the Word of God in scripture and the Prophets point to the Messiah. Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the Word of God. We are instructed not to lean on our own understanding nor are we to trust the doctrines of man but on Every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Many people, christians, have fallen away from that as the Bible has predicted. The Gospel is the Good News of what Christ has done for you and all OT scripture is in perfect cohesive unity toward that goal...don't believe me...look in Genesis all the way back to the fall of man in the Garden and you will see. Adam and Eve in perfection were given one law....do not eat of this tree. When they disobeyed God they hid in their shame and when they were called out to make an account they began to blame outside themselves...Eve blamed the Serpant (the devil made me do it) and Adam blamed Eve...and even went futher and laid some blame toward God as well..."this woman YOU made me...". Neither confessed or asked forgiveness...if they had God would have been just to restore them to their ingnorance and innocents. Do you see? Even then...it took the shedding of the blood of a what would have had to have been a pure and blemishless animal to make a covering for their naked ness...I'm guessing it was a lamb and now Jesus has become that Lamb to cover our nakedness...to clothe us in His rightiousness...all that is required is that we first believe and if you can't...ask God to help you...and then to confess..tell Him everything cuz it ain't like He don't already know...and REPENT...really see your sin and refuse to justify it. For instance...I have anger issues because my husband drives me nuts sometimes but that doesn't rationalize my actions during my anger such as beating him with the Home Depot ad. There are worse things that we all do but Jesus also said...He did not come for the rightious..He gave it up for all the worst dregs of society and all sin, no matter how tragic or filthy. He is no respector of persons and we are filthy rags to Him. The Bible says everything I am telling you now and if you would like to see any specific scripture then let me know and I'll gladly provide it strait from the KJV. The Word of God is my passion and I've studied it for nearly 13 years....it wasn't always easy...but once you understand a few things...He'll open your heart, mind and eyes to the rest as you need or desire it. God bless you...Love in Christ, ~J~

Follow the advice of Thy Word is Truth. They know the right answer. You must decide to Love God, Honor his Teachings/Commandments, Confess that you believe He is The Lord thy God and Savior. Repent of your sins (stop doing them -do your very best to quit, ie. lying, stealing, etc.. And be Baptised as soon as you know that you are ready to change your life forever for the good.(IMMEDIATELY - not next week with 20 other people in a mass baptism)
Do your very best to attend worship with other christians as often as possible, God wants us to have fellowship with like minds. It is the best support system in the world if you utilize it!
Hope this helps,
Laura

To except Christ as your personal lord and saviour, you must belive Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins. You must confess your sins, and be baptized. Once you are baptized, all of your sins disappear. The slate is wiped clean. You become a child of God. Jesus said, knock and the door shall be open. Those of you who are weary and heavy burden, come to me and i shall give you rest.
