most of the time when i get my periods i get servere pains.
is this normal and should i be alarmed by this?

i have gone to a doc (specialist) but she just showed me some exercise to do.
when i exercise i get less pain.
i have heard that this problem of getting pains during your period has a long term effect. is it true that getting these pains can cause one not to give birth, interfers with the womb?

as far as i know you should be able to conceive normally.however really bad pains coupled with very heavy bleeding could indicate endiometriosis which is a cause of infertility.
if you are really concerned go and see a gyneacologist, they may order an ultrasound ( called a sonogram in the U.S.,i think )
also, i know you have probably tried everything but a hot waterbottle may ease some of your pain.
good luck!

I get servere pains when I get my period, too. They're most likely just menstrual cramps, and the intensity of them varies between individuals. I went to a doctor about mine and they suggested to me to take some Naprogesic, which is an anti-flammatory tablet that's sold over the counter here in Australia. They work really well.
Other painkillers that contain naproxen and ibuprofen may help relieve the pain, too.

Before I got pregnant, I had really bad menstrual cramps. I would always take pain medications and at one point, had to be given through injection (intramuscularly). I had regular menstrual cycles though so I knew there was no problem.

However, there is such a thing as endometriosis. It also presents as painful menses but accompanied by other symptoms such as painful sexual intercourse and bowel movements, etc. But if your obstetrician did not suspect this, then just relax.

Now I have a son so I am proof that you can have babies!

I had a similsr enjoy approximately a 12 months in the past - used to be past due - took a experiment and there used to be a faint line/shadow, despite the fact that the primary experiment used to be terrible the moment experiment used to be shadowed! I waited a couple of extra days and went to the healthcare professional who did a experiment there after which to check the influence - it used to be terrible. Dont fear approximately the lateness of this as you may have been on anti b's, my buddy used to be on them (they rationale the tablet not to paintings thoroughly) and he or she used to be approximately two weeks past due - so dont fear simply but, however, as they may be able to give up the tablet from operating there's a well danger you would be pregnant. Try to not permit this trouble you (difficult i do know!) however wait and notice what the healthcare professional has to mention first. Any manner, well success and i am hoping you get the influence you're watching for!!! xx

I would recommend getting another opinion and preferably from someone that does not share the same office as the doctor you saw already. The reason I recommend another opinion because what you are experiencing is not normal.

its not true. My sister had the worst period pains ever and she is now a mother of two boys. My friend too.

The exercises help a lot. just do it regularly. Also watch your diet. Eat healthy food always. Hope this helps.
