results for what? Go out and do something different. Move to a new town, start a new life. If you're in school still you just need to suck it up. It gets a lot harder so you better get ready and have as much fun as you can now.

Hi Bob. There aren't many details about your exact situation to go on, but I have a few thoughts right off the bat, so here goes.
First of all, I've known so many people to hit spots in their lives where they want to die for various reasons. Basically, it is your body's way of telling you, the life you are making isn't right for you...
You can always, always change that.
Also, if you are depressed, brain chemistry is involved and you can probably benefit from a short term use of antidepressants to lift you up and give you energy while you make the changes that will make your life what you want it to be. Go see your doctor if that is something you're willing to explore. The more I see my friends and family improve their overall lives with a year or two course of anti depressants during the rough patches in their lives, the more in favor of it I am...
Another thought is that if your school results aren't what you want, is it possible that you just aren't into what you are studying? Or aren't into where you are (the school)? Could just a change of scenery help? Or a change of majors if you are college age?
Are you following a path someone else thinks is right for you, but you deep down really desire something else?
The decisions you make about your future will affect your future, but ultimately only you are going to have to live that day in day out grind of the career path you choose. If you hate it now, imagine 40 years from now. This might just be a blessing in disguise.
Consider having some aptitude testing or
Why not just take a few days to dream about what you really, really would want if money, reason and being sensible weren't options... This will give you some idea whether to go back to what you are doing and try harder or throw yourself into something else you love.
After you think about what your dreams and goals are to be, go talk to an advisor at school and just discuss what your options are. So often, there are options to fix what we screw up that we never find out about because we are too scared to reach out for help. Most advisors are aching to help someone that really cares.
Also, since your frame of mind is not so hot, is it possible that you are making these results out to be worse than they really are? Was it just one class? One semester? Will you be on academic probation--no biggie--just work harder and get tutors (your advisor can set all that up).
One of the hardest parts is facing your parents but if they know you are just as disappointed or more so, they'll have a heart (usually) even if it is not to your face.
Let's just say, worst case scenario, you flat out get kicked out of college. Junior colleges are everywhere and offer a great opportunity to beef up your GPA and get into an even better college. If you are in high school and you feel like you are jeopardizing your future, junior college holds true as an option, too.
If it was a standardized test of some sort, retake it.
Keep in mind a million other people have screwed up in school a million times worse than you could possibly have and you can always turn it around -- if that's what you want.
Good luck and I hope I at least hit upon something that will help...

I am in the same boat as you!!! I see this future I want but it feels like I can't get it. I feel like I am not going do what I want to be able to do and it is just a dream.
Please trust me on this, DO NOT KILL YOURSELF!!!!! it is not worth it trust me!!!!! i have been there and it is not worth hurting yourself over cuz u can always change. you need to set goals for yourself(start with small realistic goals)yhat you can reach and feel relly proud of. And if you really are depressed then you should go see a counselor and ask about anti-depressants.
You must have perseverance. I am depressed and stressed but I am just roughing it out. I have this strange feeling that it may not just be a dream cuz i believe in this future too much. I think you will be ok.
Good luck!!

Why don't you allow your mother and father help you? They can you know even if it is just a little bit. It is better than nothing. You can go out to dinner with them. Visit the ballpark. See a movie, visit antique airplanes, take pictures with your cat, join a group where the people are friendly, go to a casino, buy a new place to live, etc. If you will only make a move I am sure that your folks will back you up. Bring a friend along. Dying is too permanent. Nothing left beyond that. You know who this is. Send us an email.

Really, now, can't you see what's important in life? Life itself! No results can make you reject that. Honestly, other people struggle for their lives and they don't even have the opportunity to take the test from which you got the results, whatever they are. And they are happy and useful to society. So get a grip and try your best in any factor you are decently good at! Appreciate what God has given you, be it health, love, family, or even just life! Even the opportunity to go to school is something some children pray for! So just try harder and go on with your life. Even if you don't do well at school, there are amazing things that you can do. One of the people I respect most, for his craftmanship and for his ethos and his family has not even finished primary school.

You didn't say what your results were. But, it is normal to be in the why me stage right now. You need to work on getting into the fighting mode. Fight whatever it is that has you down. Never give up. We all are faced with our mortality sooner or later. Find a support group and get involved. They will help you deal with what is before you. Tell your doctor how you feel as well. don't give up yet! My prayers are with you all the way.

When I was at school, good results meant everything. And now that I'm older, failing means I should try again. Just take that attitude and you'll one day look back and laugh at this day.
Strength to you. Failure can be a new begining.

I know how you feel, I have a friend who is very depressed and takes anti depress pills but they don't work. He became happy when he was my teacher for art. I guess you should find something and follow it. E.g Join a Band , then you might not want to die or else your band might go really bad without you.
