Immersed. Mark 1:9, 10 says Jesus was baptized in the Jordan river by john. And immediately on coming up out of the water he saw the heavens being parted" did you noticed it says that he came up out of the water! Also Acts 8:3 says "they both went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him" did you notice it says they went down into the water!! You will find more proof if you look up in a dictionary the definition of baptism. It will tell you that the word "baptize" comes from the Greek word "BA-ptizein", meaning "to dip, to plunge". NOT sprinkle!

It all depends.

When the weather was bad, or if the Jordan was running too swiftly, John the baptist was known to use a sea shell to pour water from a cistern, on those he baptized.

Jesus mentioned water and the Holy Spirit, and baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, yet he never specified exactly how the water should be applied.

These things are best left to the wisdom and authority of the authentic church.

It really depends. For new believers above the age of reason, immersion paints a beautiful picture of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. But pouring also carries a wonderful connotation of the power of the Holy Spirit, poured out for us. Sprinkling, as in the blood of the Lamb as He was crucified for our sakes. Any way you look at it, baptism bonds us to Christ. To make it a bunch of laws and formulas, does justice to no one.

From earliest times the Church has decreed that Baptism by immersion (and in running water!) is preferred, but that if facilities for doing so are unavailable, the Baptizand may be sprinkled.

Baptized by immersing then you must be forced to drink as much Holy Water as possible. That'll get the devil out of you.

Not at all ... it's an insult to say a new born child is evil just to play the trump card in early indoctrination and religious ploy.
the hard core religious leaders at the top had no limit to their gaul when came to their own self pious ends .
