I'm 49 and was married for 8 glorious years until I lost my husband. So, all in all, I've been in the dating world a LONG time. NOT ONCE have I ever had a guy say that he liked short hair. [even if you look at match.com in the 60's and 70's age brackets you'll find these "mature" men desiring women [even in their own age bracket] with long hair. BUT not everyone looks great in long hair. Get a style that is up-to-date, a terrific color (I THINK COLOR IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT), and a cut that emphasizes your good qualities and EYES, and complements your figure/size/height!! Good Luck!!

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Different people have different preferences, it depends on individuals. Every girls have their own strength in looks. Some girls look sexy in short hair while others look sensual in long hair.

I very much prefer longer hair, but have found girls with short hair who I was attracted to.
Long hair just looks more feminine.

I think it depends. Girls with long hair that's stringy and unkempt do not look good. Older people look better with shorter hair. And if you have a great face, shorter hair is more flattering, but long hair can disguise ugly features. Women who are really pretty tend to look good with short hair, plus its a sign of confidence.

long, well kempt and bushy hair looks best on girls imo, I feel girls with flat or short hair could look a lot more attractive if they added more length and weight to their hair, but I get that it takes a lot of time to do your hair in the mornings.

long hair esp. when its very soft and silky. if your hair is always knotted or puffy with split ends u should go for short
