then as intended he would have to chose a mate from the animals. Given that the closest would probably be a monkey then does not this mean men have to thank Adam that they dont have to make love to females with better beards then themselves?

What happens when you mix green and yellow?.. Might be blue, i forget, lol. Your judgement while posting has a major flaw. The decendants of adam and monkey-eve, would be half human half monkey. Therefore, men would still have better beards?.. Noob.

Nope. There are two Genesis texts (therefore two creation stories). In one, Adam had a mate to begin with and her name was Lilith (they were BOTH created from the earth). When she refused to be dominated by Adam she was banished from the garden of Eden. Then, Eve was created from Adam's rib cage so that she would be more submissive, thus easier to command.

So, really your question is irrelevant. By the way, what does "with better beards than themselves" suggest? I may be overlooking something.

Quite literally, Eve was God's gift to man (Adam). What kind of a fool would Adam have been to turn that down?

The problem with marriages today (and why divorce is so high) is because rather than asking God for the perfect gift He had planned for us, so many people go out looking to "choose" whom to marry.

God loves you people! He has a perfect mate in mind for you. Get in line with Him and ask Him for your mate.

Interspecies mating between human beings and any species of monkeys is impossible...

If Adam and Eve were to be the first and only ones (Which I highly doubt) they have no choice but to mate or go extinct...

Thank you Adam! But, I have to thank God too, because it was the first arranged marriage!!!

**I have seen some women that have better beards than I do, but I wouldn't marry them (or let alone date them for that matter) because we would always end up fighting over who got to use the mirror to shave first!

Oh man, you've just scared me, big time! I'll never look at the bearded lady at the circus the same way again; she could have been my mother!

Eh. Adam's first wife was Lilith. She thought he was a pussy, and went and screwed some monster-creatures. God then created Eve out of God's rib bone. She had no choice but to love him, and he her, as he would love himself. So it worked out.
