Well i'm 19 and live in wichita kansas and i jus found out that my dad got a better job there. He said they probley be moving there soon. He said that i could stay in the states if i wanted it too and move in with my grandparents that live in chicago. But i'm not sure if i really want to, because i have my own family here who have been thur everything with me more then my real family has. I'm also have more things here for me also i got school and work. I lived on my own for about over a year now because my parents kicked me out and made it quite okay by myself. But thinkin about my parents leavin the states scares me should i rather move wit my grandparent that i only met like 5 times in my life or stay with people that have been thur everything with me for over 3 years? I'm so confused. I'm also be a godmother soon n that is really importan to me and the mother because she says that baby will make us more of a family . I dont know, i'm really scared.

The reason you are scared is because you think a chunk of your support system is leaving and going to another country. The cool thing is that you know you can get along on your own, so remember that.

What kind of health are the grandparents in? Do they know they have been suggested for this kind of duty? That might not be a good idea. Chicago can be a scary place, too.

You need to sit down and write down all of the reasons to go or stay... the ol' T-bar approach. The one with the most good things wins.
You need to complete your education... can your dad help you with that?
It is possible that a couple of years in Germany would open your world view... perhaps you could try it for 6 months?
You can always come back to Wichita and your friends... and you would be coming back with a world of new experiences to share.

i say stay with the people that have been there for you. if you can make it on your own for a whole year you'll be just fine. good luck!
