Why? You want one?

Yes.

The murder I know of took place in a vacant lot south east of campus (not actually on campus). Kind of over where all those apartments are, over by the new taco bell.

Suicide- in 2003...You know those bleachers right next to the parking structure in lot 59 (Sun Angel Stadium)? A frat boy jumped to his death in the middle of the night. This was before the parking structure was built. Otherwise he probably would have used that - it's taller.

Suicide - 2003 (within a couple months of the one above) A man jumped off of the top of the Center Pointe parking garage. The one over by the movie theater and Island Burger.

I've often gone to the 7th floor of the Life Sciences Tower, wishing I had the courage to jump off. There's a nice view up there.

I can't imagine that at a school that size there hadn't been; even if there had been a number of them over the years, it wouldn't necessarily put the campus outside the norm of per capita murders or suicides, so don't freak out if you find out that such a thing happened. We're talking about a school with almost 50,000 students, not to mention the number of faculty and staff. If it were a town, you would expect a certain number of suicides per year, and an occasional murder. You only should worry if the numbers at ASU exceed the norm.
