It depends on the ages. A good rule of thumb would be 1/6 the age of the youngest until the youngest is 24, then it can be 1/2.

The maturity and experience of both partners plays a big factor. At 24, most people know enough that they can make an inform decision. If both individuals is younger that, the naive nature of couple makes their relationship special.

Ok, i once thought i was in love with a guy who was 8 years older than me. It turned out to be the worst thing in my life. He was going to be an engineer (extremely smart, handsome, talented gentleman...or so i thought), and i was still just in grade school. Trust me, depending on how old you are, and the maturity level of both you and your partner, 8 years may just be WAY too much. It depends on you and the other person. But unless you're both older (out of school) , only a few years could be too much. Ask yourself, does it feel right? Or do you find yourself conviencing your head into something you know just isn't right? Good luck! Just remember, when you're young, it usualy isn't good to date somebody more than a few years older or younger than you.

once you get above 21 it really does not matter in ways. but the only thing to think about if you go 20 years older remember the one person you will love till you die is the one that is going to be older first and you will see how they deterioate in front of you not so much but age and there is nothing you can do. they walk slower talks slower and do less then before and it hurts its really hard to deal with when your love is so great and when he leaves for heaven you will miss him dearly but you will have grace of god to go on but sadness hes left you

I don't think age is that big of a deal. But you should be careful i mean if he could be pressed charges than you should be very careful. And try not to ever be alone with him.

Depends on the age of both parties and the maturity.

Age really doesn't matter as long as it's not considered child molesting. As long as you are happy and comfortable with them then that's all that matters...
