Well if you have health insurance that covers chiro care, it wouldn't hurt, but be careful there are some quacks out there, get a recommendation first. If not just see your MD. Hip pain discomfort can be caused by anything. See one and get referred for some imaging (xray, mri....) Could be early signs of athritis...if an injury-could be fracture, or could just be bad posture, or other. Regardless any of those can be figured out by a DC or MD.
Once you figure out exactly whats going on then decide from there. Some might be more beneficial to be co-managed by both, or some one or the other. Hope that helps.

Go see a chiropractor~ if you don't have insurance just call around and find a doctor who doesn't charge for exam or x-rays (should be very easy to find) it should only take a few visits to get the proper spinal alignment back in your lower back and hip area. Pain meds will only mask the pain~ what i mean by that is like if your house was on fire and you took the batteries out of the smoke detector~ it make of stopped the noise but the house is still going to burn. You may take the pain meds and it may stop hurting for a while but the underlying problem is still there and isn't going away, and most likely the problem will return more frequently and more intense.

I would recommend a Chiropractor as well. They do a lot of work relating to the hips and pelvis, and their effect on posture and overall pain throughout the body.
If you havn't been to one before then maybe just go for a consultation and see what they have to offer before you undergo any treatment?

If your not comfortable with that you could try doing to an Osteopath and see also what they have to offer. A physical therapist is also an idea. All three of those professions do some good work on the area, its just a matter of finding the one that gets you to respond the most positively.

Instead of bouncing around to all these doctors to "see what's" wrong like on a treasure hunt, go see your doctor. He'll take X-Rays, this should be the first thing, then if necessary MRI's you may have a start of arthritis or early hip degeneration. He can then line you up with a orthopedic surgeon and do it right. You'll save both time and money, not to talk about the pain.

Humid climate might be hectic the drawback. Do now not hesitate, see an orthopedist document who focuses on hips for x-rays and a MRI. Your cartilage might be dressed in inflicting a bone-on-bone agony (arthritis) or osteoporsis. Be definite you're consuming prime calcium meals (yogurt, leafy veggies, broccoli, almonds, and many others.) and, in line with your age, the right mg's of calcium citrate dietary supplements. Have you attempted Motrin?
