True maybe we are not brainwashed.
Just possibly we are people on a mission to salvage this planet.
I have personally seen exactly how some less able members of the media twist and make stories up.
On the Internet there are anti-religious bigots, although I have come across non-religious people who are only sick of the falsehood and stupidity put forward from some quarters. They are actually not against any group or survival but abhorred people spouting off without knowledge or understanding.
As for the psycho-pharma industry they have been the but of jokes since their conception. They are not really able to hide their stupidy and lack of actual answers.

Did you know Greta Van Susteren is a Scientologist? Does that change the way you think about Scientology?
Certainly not. Who is she, and why would it?
"She's obviously a brilliant and successful attorney who has the ability to think analytically."
Hmmm....obvious to whom?
"Does that make you question whether Scientologists are really brainwashed or less intelligent?"
No
"If it makes sense to her and she's someone who's good about seperating fact from fiction, does that make you think that maybe Scientology isn't as ridiculous as it's made out to be by the media, anti-religious bigots on the internet and the psycho-pharma industry which is behind many of the attacks?"
Well, *if* it makes sense to her, and *if* she's someone who is good at separating fact from fiction, and *if* someone were to demonstrate this to someone who thought that Scientology was one of those things you said, then *maybe* that someone would think that that one person's preference was a good enough reason to change their mind - but I doubt it.

Another Scientologist masquerading as just an observer of a wronged religion. The fact a lawyer joined means they are safe and not brainwashing! Logic never has been scientologist strong point. They have lawyers, doctors and all sorts of professionals join them - desperate people come from all walks of life. If they get you when your down or think it is just a laugh to join but can then leave they are laughing, but all the way to the bank. Once in the cult they can not easily leave and the deeper in they get and the more brainwashed they become. Leaving this cult means they will ruin you by any means available. Read the truth, not the fairytale cover up that Scientology peddles.

Why is Greta Van Susteren different than any other Scientologist? How is she some high example? Look at all the other celebs that are in that cult. Shouldn't they know better? Aren't they successful? That has nothing to do with what a load of garbage Scientology is.

I think that some reasonably intelligent people use scientology mutually as they're being used. There's a driving Machine that Scientology has working for it, really useful at getting passed barriers, for instance--making it into hollywood, and Scientologists really look after one another. There's a good deal to be said for that aspect of Scientology. But on the whole, no, Scientology as a religion is completely bogus, a massive waste of capital, and they actually have occult slave camps for naughty scientologists who need re-educated. Creepy. Also, Dianetics is totally worthless as a psychological tool. I mean, it borrowed the worst bits of Jungian and Freudian theory and made a mess of them.

No, it doesn't make me think Scientology is any less ridiculous. It makes me think that an otherwise intelligent person has been brainwashed by a cult. It happens more than you think.
And it certainly doesn't make Scientology any more of a religion (which it isn't) or any less of a cult (which it is), nor does it prove one damn thing about the "psycho-pharma industry".

who the heck is Greta Van Susteren and why should i give a damn what she believes?
you claim that she 'has the ability to think analytically' but present no evidence that she has used this ability to decide to follow scientology. she could be in it for the money for all i know.

The Scientology 'Fair Game' Policy regarding 'Supressive Persons' (SP) - people who expose Scientology for what it is and try to protect people from its evils, is as follows.
ENEMY : SP Order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injure by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed.
http://www.fairgamed.org/fairgame.htm
The name of the policy was dropped, but not the policy itself.
My fiance was involved with them for a short period of time, and still can not speak of the experience without fear or pain.
A few blocks from where I live, a girl recently stabbed to death her sibling and father. Why? Her father was a Scientologist and as per his beliefs, would not permit her to take her schizophrenia medication, resulting in her having an extreme pyschotic episode.
That's all I need to know.
