Well, I know a human can't touch it when they are pregnant, but I don't know if a dog is any different. I know that dogs aren't even supposed to have fleas when they give birth. I would ask the vet first, then see what they say. I wouldn't give the dog Frontline, no, but what I am saying to do is ask your vet what to do so that the dog doesn't get fleas on the big day. Oh, by the way, I WANT PICTURES OF THE PUPPIES!!!

You should have booked her c-section right when you bred her. Almost every Frenchie will need a c-section for the birth due to the large headsize. That way not only does your vet set aside time for the op in advance you also know the exact date your pups will be born right from the start. I would take her to your vet right away for a checkup and set up the c-section. I would imagine he would advise against you going away. Stress late in pregnancy may lead to premature labor. They can get milk up to a couple of weeks or so before the birth so that's not what you go by. It's by the first day she was bred. Count 63 days from that time then give or take a few days that's when the pups should arrive. As I said though being a Frenchie there is little or no chance for a natural birth. Good luck.

I would ask a vet. Puppies are very sensitive to flea products. If the dog has fleas, ask your vet to sell you some Capstar tablets. You give the dog one and all the fleas on the dog will die and it won't hurt the dog or the puppies. You can give these tablets every day if you need to.
