Apparently gene9 doesn't read the newspaper too often. Funny, gene9, I don't remember Bush/Cheney saying that was the reason. I remember something about WMDs & and the "smoking gun in the form of a mushroom cloud" because Saddam was "fairly close" to acquiring nuclear weapons.
