A few months ago, I had fell asleep on my couch and I had this dream that I was actually at peace, and feeling happy.

In my dream, everything was clear and every bad feeling seemed to fade into the past, as if they never existed.

I started walking in my dream, I remember walking through some tall grass, after that part I don't really remember.

But the part that worries me, is the part I do remember after walking through the tall grass.

In my dream, I hear something and I turn and I see this wolf, a very beautiful wolf, but as I began walking towards it, I realized this wolf was growling and it just got louder, and then I woke up.

When I awoke, I felt incredibly irritated and angry, I felt like I had more anger than I've had in a long time, then I just felt like being held by someone.

Strange, a bit.. to be honest, I'm not sure if I'm more worried or curious of this event.

Well in my opinion the reason you awaken with frustration and anger is because in your dream you realize how good it feels be at a calm nature so it makes you mad that you cant be like that all the time. But anyways for the wolf part here is what wolfs mean in dreams

A white wolf often symbolizes receiving guidance
Loyalty, protection
Experiencing a sense of community
Having strong family ties
Feeling fearful or hunted, wanting to keep the wolf from your door
Somebody who is devious or dishonest, a wolf in sheep’s clothing
Ingesting quickly or taking something in hurriedly, wolfing it down

The feeling of peacefulness and serenity is coming to you in the guise of wolf. A wolf is similar to dogs in a dream, that they symbolize a friend, someone close. So you actually have someone close to you who is providing a sense of security but really, he's a wolf ( in sheep's clothing) The anger you feel is that which you will feel when you realize you've been duped. Perhaps it's that someone you felt you had to be held by.

Peace

To dream of peace and tranquility, indicates an end or a resolution to an emotional issue or inner conflict. It may signal and end of a cycle and the pause before the beginning of a new endeavor. Becareful, a wolf usually can symbolize someone who has marked you as easy prey and is scoping you out. Your dream seems to point out that what ever this wolf was or is, you first saw it as beautiful. But when it started to growl at you your feeling of peace went away and was replaced by irritability and anger. Like I said there may be someone you know whom you have awaken to, that they are not what they seem to be, and it has angered you.

When a man ploughs his furrow in the field he does not look back at his progress but keeps his eye in front where the ground is to be ploughed.
Sounds like you're dream is telling you to keep your hands on the till of the plough. The future looks bright, no need to look backwards, nor try to go backwards no matter how fine an idea it looks like.
The wolf was letting you know that backtracking is only going to hurt you. Keep going ahead with the green, green grass of the future. Nothing to be afraid of.

It sounds like you're experiencing anxiety or fear that you can't have lasting peace. Sounds like you even expect that which initially appears powerful and beautiful to ultimately become threatening. Maybe you will continue to experience some level of periodic, possibly escalating agitation until you are able to confront and push thru a nagging, lingering fear. The fact that you awoke and wanted to be nurtured suggests that maybe you struggling with wanting to feel protected and nurtured by someone in your life - maybe the loss of a parental figure who played a key role in you feeling safe?? Or, maybe you're working thru separation anxiety - separation from a parental or other person who, in your life, symbolizes protection and comfort. It sounds like you have a strong desire for nurturing as a result of this dream, but in fact you recognize that you will have to find ways to self soothe while you continue to walk into a more independent cycle in your life. If this rings true and you're seeking ways to manage anxiety/fear and discomfort, see link below for info on "self soothing."

Life is presently comfortable, manageable, predictable at this moment. You see this "beautiful wolf," life, the future, uncertainty cause you haven't travel down that road (life, change) yet. You want to get it over with, get back to this comfortable feeling, The feeling of "held by someone" is actually your evolving, a turning a page in your book of life. You tie your perception of who you are to the present, afraid as life goes on you will change into someone you don't recognize. You are not alone, all of us have come to this cross roads, where we are young, but don't want to be, and old, but yearn to be young again. Enjoy the ride.

Dreams can just be a catalyst for feelings that you haven't expressed otherwise. You are probably needing to feel more calm and at peace in some area of your life, but something is blocking you from that, frustrating you.
