Your chance of death is at worst 2%, but probably less, especially if you have had time to ask this question. Death from taking 13 aspirin is very doubtful, however on an empty stomach it could be enough to give you an ulcer. The question is how many milligrams did you take?

Aspirin is reactive in the stomach and can cause ulcers, if it was a new drug marketed today the FDA would not allow it to be sold over the counter because it is so strong and so dangerous. However, the normal dosage of aspirin is safe and the chance of ulcers usually only appear over long term use.

Aspirin works by crushing the blood platelets in the body. This allows blood to flow to areas where it could be swollen and not able to reach. This can then let it remove waste and oxygenate damaged areas that are under swelling. The problem is that blood platelets cause clotting. If you have a large dose of aspirin then your blood will have a harder time clotting. A dosage of 13 standard aspirin pills is probably not enough to give you a hemophilic effect if you were cut, but it is enough to make a doctor want to forgo any surgery on you. The risk of your bleeding to death is too high.

So if you are having your period then the aspirin will only make it worse. Tininitus is a constant ringing sound in your ears and it can get bad.

Aspirin overdose can be acute or chronic. In acute poisoning, a single large dose is taken; in chronic poisoning, supratherapeutic doses are taken over a period of time. Acute overdose has a mortality rate of 2%. Chronic overdose is more commonly lethal with a mortality rate of 25%; chronic overdose may be especially severe in children.

Aspirin overdose has potentially serious consequences, sometimes leading to significant morbidity and mortality. Patients with mild intoxication frequently have nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, lethargy, tinnitus, and dizziness. More significant symptoms occur in more severe poisonings and include hyperthermia, tachypnea, respiratory alkalosis, metabolic acidosis, hyperkalemia, hypoglycemia, hallucinations, confusion, seizure, cerebral edema, and coma. The most common cause of death following an aspirin overdose is cardiopulmonary arrest usually due to pulmonary edema.

Toxicity
The toxic dose of aspirin is generally considered greater than 150 mg per kg of body mass. Moderate toxicity occurs at doses up to 300 mg/kg, severe toxicity occurs between 300 to 500 mg/kg, and a potentially lethal dose is greater than 500 mg/kg. This is the equivalent of many dozens of the common 325 mg tablets, depending on body weight. Note that children cannot tolerate as much aspirin per unit body weight as adults can, even when aspirin is indicated. Label-directions should be followed carefully.

Treatment
All overdose patients must be taken to a hospital immediately. Initial treatment of an acute overdose includes gastric decontamination of the patient. This is achieved by administering activated charcoal which adsorbs the aspirin in the gastrointestinal tract. Stomach pumps are no longer routinely used in the treatment of poisonings but are sometimes considered if the patient has ingested a potentially lethal amount up to 1 hour previously. Repeated doses of charcoal have been proposed to be beneficial in aspirin overdose. A study performed found that repeat dose charcoal might not be of significant value. However, most toxicologists will administer additional charcoal if serum salicylate levels are increasing.

Patients are monitored until their peak salicylate blood level has been determined. Blood levels are usually performed 4 hours after ingestion and then every 2 hours after that to determine the maximum level. Maximum levels can be used as a guide to toxic effects expected.”

It only took two to kill Bruce Lee but that was an allergy. Generally the answer is no but each case depends on the person. So it probably won't but it definitely will do some damage to your liver so instead you will be living in pain as opposed to resting in peace. Do not try this.

Yes of course, aspirin irritates the lining of the stomach and can cause massive internal bleeding. Because aspirin is also an anticoagulant the bleeding would not stop, neither would any bleeding anywhere from your body.

it won't kill you but the risks for side effects are higher
