i am in 8th grade.and i have liked this guy for almost 3 years,yeah i know.I am really shy, but alot of guys ask me out, so i guess I'm 'attractive', but how do I start talking to him? Guys like confidence. 8th grade guys lack such confidence because they still retain their childish selves.
Start with something as simple as this: "I've noticed you around, but I haven't had the chance to get to know you well,"
or, if you have talked with him in the past, start of by saying "I know we've briefly talked in the past, but I haven't taken the opportunity to get to know you well."
Then comes the creativity part. Ask him something slightly personal. For example, "How are your classes going so far?"
or "How do you manage to survive Mr/Ms (Teacher's Name)'s class?" or even "What is your opinion on this war on terror?"
Give him the concerned-mother look (kinda like a sad look on your face, as if he was your son and was misguided in some way) instead of the smiling-girl-with-a-crush look in order to make him think that you're interested in his OPINION rather than his looks. Whenever he says anything, pay CAREFUL ATTENTION, grab any key words you hear and toss him another question or say something appropriate.
For example, if he says "Mr. (Teacher)'s class is horrible", ask him "why do you think it's horrible?"
If he says "I don't feel safe going to the streets because of the fear of being a victim of a terrorist attack", tell him something like "I understand how you feel, since I feel the same way."
This ought to be enough for you to win him over.

Too young to go out? Nah i dont think that. You guys gotta find mutual interests. if you dont like at least some of the things, its gonna be a pretty boring date :)

take notice at what he is doing one day like homework and just go up to him and talk to him about what he's doing. try to relate to the environment he is in. good luck!
