The Book of Exodus.
Exodus continues what began in Genesis as God deals with His chosen people, the Jews. It traces the events from the time Israel entered Egypt as guests, until they were eventually delivered from the cruel bondage of slavery into which they had been brought by "...a new king...which knew not Joseph" (Exodus 1:8).

The theme of redemption, or salvation, is expressed in both the Passover and the crossing of the Red Sea (Exodus 14:13). Other major themes are the making of a covenant between God and Israel (Exodus 19:5-8), the accompanying laws which are part of the covenant (Exodus 20-24), and the worship of God as expressed through the construction and use of the sacred tent of meeting with its furniture, sacrifices, and ceremonies. (This tent was also referred to as The Tabernacle).

By God's self-revelation, the Israelites were instructed in the sovereignty and majesty, the goodness and holiness, and the grace and mercy of their Lord, the One and only God of heaven and earth (Exodus 3, 6, 33, 34). The account of the Exodus and the events that followed are also the subject of other major biblical revelation (compare Psalms 105:25-45; 106: 6-27; Acts 7:17-44; 1 Corinthians 10:1-13; Hebrews 9:1-6; 11:23-29).

The act of Abraham sacrificed Isaac interests me a lot. When we think of Abraham, who is praised as the father of faith, we always think of this bold act of him sacrificing his only son whom he begot at a very old age. I however wonder how does Isaac, the child, feel the moment he saw his own father raised a knife to kill him in the name of the LORD. How can a child reconcile with his father for such a cruel act? How can the little one trust his father again? How can the little mind believe that GOD the Eternal Father love the whole human race? Yet there's not a word of complaint in the OT from Isaac.

Is the story of Noah and the Arc really the word of God when 2 of every species of living things on this planet weighs over 100 million tons. Noah would have needed an Arc a few miles long.

You can talk about Esther, you could talk about how Rahab (Jericho) was the mother of Boaz who married Ruth and had Obed who had Jessie who had David, and through that line was the ancestor of Jesus. It is pretty cool how God worked that out. Or Moses, or Joseph....

Here is a great resource. Just pick a story and be amazed.

better yet see if you can prove to people that god exists and try to see if you can use the bible as a source. this should convince people to see things your way or the highway. but above all, it should be interesting
