I am involved in ASB of my school. One of my ASB members is this beautiful girl named Jessi (fake name). She's very outgoing, kind, and beautiful. But she and I come from very different worlds. She's a cheerleader and has set of friends in more preppy and atheleticc areas... and I have friends who are more into Academic, Musical, and Art area.
I know some of you may say to find another person... but everytime I see her at a meeting I can't help the feeling I get of wanting to get to know her better. I want to ask her out... but I don't want to make the ASB meetings awkward by doing so. Because I only know her through ASB meetings... I don't know if she even has a bf... who she likes... or if she even thinks of me as a friend. What should I do? If not ask her out how can i even get to know her better?

I think you should ask her out. The reason I'm being blunt is because the bf i am with right now told me before me he never asked the girls that he liked out because he was way to nervous and shy. He told me that he felt jealous of me because I've had more experinence than he had. I just told him that you just got to get rid of you inhibitions and just say something because then you will end up regretting it. And if she does turns you down, well at least you'll know and you won't be thinking all the time, "What if?" then you can move on with your life. It's not like she is the only one in the world anyhow. But sometimes we just have to take chances otherwise we never know what can happen. I gotten turned down before, felt sad for a while, then got over it and moved on. Best of luck!

You should start talking to her more at the meetings. At least come to a lvl where you know where you 2 stand. If she seems intreasted in you then you should ask her out.

the easiest way to ask is go up to her and ask. she will proably say yes and i bet you have a good time its very simple.
