ghosts....real or figments?

are there really such a thing as ghosts or are people milking the "afterlife" for all it's worth? just curious...

The Christian interpretation of ghost are demons, because, according to the Christian belief... human spirits do not wonder the earth, they either ascend to heaven, or descend to hell.

Most ghost stories are usually just stories, but the ones that are real actually appear to be, from a Christian perspective, demonic possesions of people and demonic places.

Demons are fallen angels who wander the earth... so this is the Christian logic to the term ghost.

Ghost = evil spirit, demon presense... etc.

I myself think that many stories of ghost are made up, as is the case for UFO hoaxes and other such imaginitive creations.

However, after seeing TAPS and other such things on TV, I have found a few casses in which I believe that there was an actual demon haunting of a place, and the people of that place.

The phenomena of ghosts is real ... what they are exactly is the real question.

Whether caused by incorrect interpretation of environmental conditions (such as infrasound, carbon monoxide poisoning etc...) or indeed are paranormal events, it can be said that many witnesses have indeed experienced "something". Events have been reported throughout history and still continue.

I have experienced what many would term a ghost (a type referred to as a "shadow person"). While I can rule out many "natural" causes, I cannot say if it was a "soul" of deceased person, an evil entity, or the minds reaction to "natural stimuli". What I can say is that my experience was very real - at first I thought it was a person and had no thought of a ghost - until I tried to grab it and my hand passed through - it reacted by floating upwards and eventually dissipated after about 5 minutes.

Ghosts are real. Unless if you do not want them to be. If you believe in them, you will see them. Some time in your life you will see one. But, if you don't believe, you will see "ghosts". Things that you will call a "trick of the eye". That black thing that moved away super fast was just your vision getting "blurry" because you woke up. The blue thing that you stare at, rub your eye, and then the blue thing is gone, is just a small problem with "the sun reflecting off of your sunglasses." What I am trying to say is, Ghosts are real. But if you are convinced that they are not, they will pass you by, and will give you headway to believe that they aren't even there.

But, anyway, the ghosts are in the Afterlife, but, it is hard to say where they are from. Some are from Hell (Don't associate with those guys. They are cruel. Watch out for shadows that whisper and move things around wildly, or any ghost that gives of a threatening presence, not a frightful one.), some are from the Earth, (Very mischievous. They like to hide things sometimes.), and they can be from Heaven(Also known as Angels. I have one that comes in my house sometimes. But yes, the afterlife happens, and some Ghosts are bound to Earth, or just visiting.

Commonly called ghost are the souls or spirits of the dead. But biblically speaking, when a person dies his soul also dies but his spirit goes back to the Creator. The spirits some encounters are the spirits that was thrown from heaven with the devil here on earth after they were defeated in war with the angels lead by angel Archangel.

But these spirits do not manifest to many.

They are real in my own experience. These spirits show their presence in varied ways and forms. You can smell them like flowers, candle or mold. Some appears as dark or light cloud or shadow while others makes sounds such moaning and groaning. They also imitates voices and some are so strong that they could touch and move material things.

"Ghosts" are real. I am a skeptical person, but I have had 2 separate experiences with what I can best describe as ghosts. When you tell someone you've seen ghosts before, they tend to thing you are crazy. But I know I saw something. I can't say if they are from an afterlife, but something akin to ghost does exist.

Some people might be milking the 'afterlife' for gain...there's always someone out to 'make a buck' from anything. Yes, there are spirits or ghosts..I have seen some.

Unknown really. Theres no way to prove or disprove them. In a world where time moves and the afterlife is unreachable by humans we have but to wonder what is on the other side. Ghosts? God? Nothing. Its a matter of theory. There is different theories. The bible is my personal belief. It mentions spirits in limbo a few times in different tomes ive read. I beleive there real.

In Genesis chapter 6, the Bible describes "sons of God", or angels, who left heaven to marry human women. This led to much violence on the earth, and ultimately to the Flood of Noah's day. After the Flood, these disobedient angels were no longer allowed their former positions in heaven, and they were no longer able to materialize as humans. They became "wicked spirits" or demons, and they want people to believe in an afterlife which conflicts with what the Bible teaches. They, with their leader, Satan, are still getting humans to believe that first lie that he told Eve..."you positively will not die". Genesis 3:4.
Of course that leads to lots of other subjects, so I will just say that these demons are described in the Bible as very powerful, and many people can certainly attest to that, no matter what type of experience they may have had with them.

Real, and do not conflict with religious or believing in the afterlife. Ghosts are spirits/souls. Some spirits do not realize they have passed, or have unfinished work here. Unless you've seen one or have had personal experience, I cannot convince you.
