No, only God's opinion matters and His Word to back it up, He is the only one , who has a heaven and hell to put us in.

We weren`t asked how to create the universe so our opinion of salvation doesn`t matter either. It is the way it is and we go by the guide lines that are set in stone. We either except salvation as it is or we don`t.

Of course not. God has the only opinion that matters. When people say they don't believe in God, it's simple. Their unbelief doesn't change a thing. God's still real. He's still on the throne. Jesus will return. The born again will see Him face to face. Even the unbeliever will realize that their opinion was false and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father!!

I think it only matters so far as what it inspires us to choose in life. I think what happens regarding salvation and how it comes about is already in place and our opinion or debate about it is irrelevant, except for what we decide to do.

No. You can only be saved if you simply believe that Jesus, who is God, died for your sins and rose again.
Our opinion on the matter doesn't change the above fact.

Our opinion is irrelevant! Heaven and Earth will pass away before the word of God passes away.

No, it does not. God's opinion is the only one that matters.
He knows those who are His and those who are not.

Your CHOICE certainly matters! If you choose Christ or reject Him, your eternal spirit lies in the balance.
So yes, in that way, your opinion matters.
