People wear lockets,or tie threads,bracelets &many other articles in the belief that they will help them over come evil effects or they will improve the life,but I feel that it has only a sentimental value & no scientific basis.What do you feel?

I think that dependence on lockets or beads is ridiculous. I put my faith in God. But I can tell you that there are those out there who think that is equally ridiculous. Do the beads, bracelets, lockets have any special powers? I doubt it.

It's not a question of beads, threads and lockets
It's a big difference between ordinary these things and charms!
Charms do protect us from evil forces!
First thing is the psychological advantage that you have something that can protect
And if the charm is genuine immersed in chants and prayers asking holy spirits to inhabit or protect the peerson who has it..it can ward off evil!
Good always win no matter what century or world that we live in!
That's the power of Goodness! So be good and live good!

Honestly,these are worthless against evil spirits. The only protection you can have that works wothout fail Is...Turn your life over to Jesus Christ and let Him be the Lord Of your life. By His shed blood on the cross are your sins washed white as snow. But you have to ask Him Into your heart.We are living In the last days. There's no time to waste. By having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ doesn't mean you won't have trying times,It will strenghten you . It's no bed of roses. But to spend an eternity In heaven...Eternity that's more than we can Imagine...It's a long time to be wrong...

I personally believe it is not valid. However, the power of belief, is a tremendous force. Therefore, if they believe it helps them then (in their minds) it does help. I believe in the power of God...not lockets, bracelets, etc.

I wear a cross necklace as it is a reminder to me when I seem weak that God is always with me. so I think maybe sometimes God tells us to wear certain things for our personality to strenghten us, and if we look in the Bible, I don't think we can generalize because if you read the story of Balaam's talking donkey, it kind of really opens your eyes.

I make dreamcatchers and do lots of bead crafts and evil still finds me...I dont believe in any of it but I think it makes for interesting stories.

Sounds like you are referring to a talisman which is what people use as a charm for protection, every country is different in what they believe is necessary.
