No, someone could eat the cookie with their eye's closed. They wouldn't have seen themselves eating the cookie, but it would still be eaten. As for the tree in the forest the only way it wouldn't make a sound is if the forest was also a vacuum.

Well, it all depends on how many drugs you're on at that point in time...
Was it really a cookie?
Was it actually on a plate?
Was the plate blue?
Or was it green?
And, most importantly, why wasn't the cookie,
IN A COOKIE JAR?!?!?!?!
