The spiritual path of compassionate unconditional love and self sacrifice for the benefit of the world. I find this in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the story of the crucifixion and descent into hell undoing death by death. Others would find it in the Dhamapada and stories of the Bodhisatvas who compassionately share the world's sufferings through countless incarnations. The teachings of the Compassionate Buddha address the problems of the world's sufferings in a different way than the Gospel, but both are based in love. Taoism does not speak of love or compassion, but of appropriateness and balanced action similar to the four principles of Confucius' Analects.
In communion with Christ, I share the sacrament of His Body and Blood, showing forth His death upon the cross for the life of the world until He comes again. His presence is an immediate reality to me, not a representation or symbolic memorial. His love is shown in the sharing of His life and the forgiveness of my sins. Faith for me is Him walking beside me, His life in me, His love the guide to my actions. The Church in the best sense is the Body of Christ in which we participate by Baptism, dying to sin that we may live to righteousness. This Body is best shown by loving acts of mercy, serving the poorest of the poor, healing the sickest of the sick, loving the most undeserving of sinners. In this is love, not that we loved Him, but that he loved us and gave His life for us, dying for us while we were yet in our sins, reconciling us to God and giving us the ministry of reconciliation. Perhaps this does not make sense and I am a fool, but I would gladly be a fool for Christ's sake. Following that path I believe I've found the clearest expression of love, a treasure beyond measure.

we tend to think of that if God compels us to do some thing and we are obedient to Him, he will lead us to great fulfillment. we could desire to constantly under no circumstances have the thought that our desires of fulfillment are God's purpose for us. in certainty, His purpose could be precisely the different. we've the thought God is maximum well known us in the direction of a particular end or a needed purpose, yet he's no longer. The question of whether or no longer we end at a particular purpose is of little value, and achieving it incredibly is going to become in ordinary terms an episode alongside the way. What we see via fact the capacity of achieving a particular end, God sees via fact the purpose itself. whether it incredibly is a fabric choose, a profession path, religious path, etc. it incredibly is the education and not the holiday spot it extremely is lesson. whether we stray or no longer on a similar time as on our Paths of existence isn't what's important extra so than we walk a path, era. reward

Jesus is the only one who gave his life as a human sacrifice for all sinners even though he was without sin. Knowing the love and compassion of the Lord brings such inner peace and gives me the reason for living. The troubles of life and the problems of this world can never defeat me because I have eternity to know and praise the GREAT I AM!!

Of all the religions I have studied and of those I have "been," none beat the one I am in now. Ancient Egyptians taught principles which don't exist in religions even today, though some "teach" some of them, they don't "practice" them. One of those is love for all living things and mutual respect for every human being, "including" women as EQUALS to men. To this day, this beliefs alone is not part of many religions on earth, and women are given a condescending role in life. I don't BELIEVE the holy one in heaven would ever do that to any of his children in his faith, and "didn't." Problem is, Jesus tryed to bring attention to this faith 2000 years ago, as it was losing popularity, and was crucified for it. Tells you alot about mankind and "love." To this day many still FEAR a God whom they look up to and forward to seeing him END the parts of mankind who won't believe in him as they do...

Buddhism. It focuses the mind. Without focus there can be no understanding. Without understanding there can be no love.

A true follower of Jesus Christ. A true Christian who loves and gives of him/herself to God and others. To be like Jesus is a clear expression of love. I wish all would strive to be more like Jesus. Everything he stood for and spoke about were praiseworthy and full of love.
