I am not a rare breed. I am not an humble servant. I am merely an individual on this Earth, one among billions. If anything, I suppose I'm a seeker (also just one among billions). I feel that there's a Divine presence that is much greater than I am; I want to connect with that presence. I want to learn more about that presence (which I and my religion call God), and in some way, try to understand a few basic things about the Divine, and about myself, before I leave this world.

I feel like I have been singled out in all ways possible. I have lost friendships, gained a church family, and have become a better person. All of this was possible only through the love of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I do not feel like I am a humble servant. I feel that Jesus was THE Humble Servant. I am just a messenger of His Word.

People often take personality tests or look at their astrological sign and we are all different. there are many spiritual gifts tests online and I have taken many. If you are seeking, try these, there is no one right spiritual type just as there is no one right personality, we are all parts of the body of Christ each made for a different purpose. I am a strong leader, not so much in mercy and servanthood and my daughter is the opposite of me. I am an exhorter, I like to encourage but to exhort in the Bible also means to hold people accountable to follow the Biblical "rules". There isn't an ideal, it is best to try and be what God created you to be, that is the ideal. If you look at the heros of the Bible God often chooses the lowlier ones or the mess ups. People who are full of themselves often get over looked by God because they think they know more than God. Moses when he went up and first saw God said "but I don't have good speech " I think that is funny, we are all so insecure but God made us to be who we are. Each of us has differing gifts and we should celebrate them instead of judge them or compete against them

I am nothing more than an humble servant. I rejoice that God believes in me, and allows me the privilege of a relationship with Him.

i feel like a flea before the vastness of the universe. it's something i know i will never fully understand in this lifetime, but i feel the need to try. the universe doesn't need servants, it wants understanding. my duty as a believer is to experience the world and promote understanding; and to occasionally mock willful ignorance [and i do the best i can].

Indeed I do believe I'm a servant to Christ. That's what being a Christian is about.
