I have really bad vision.. in my right eye 20/30 and left... 20/100 and i am not joking i sware... Is this terrible... I am going back to school the 4rth will people tease me alot more than ussual?? Help??

Have you taken a really good look at what junior high AND high-school kids are wearing in fashion and hair styling???
Girls sporting thong underwear, lacy visible panties and bras; guys wearing shredded jeans and shirts--done BEFORE they were sold for a minor fortune. Wild hairstyles, ranging from rainbow colors, Mohawks, soup-bowls/fades.....oh....and what of this new trend: girls sporting shiny BALD heads????
All this going on around you....and you sweat how you'll look in a pair of glasses???? Hon, if contacts and laser eye surgery are out, they have glasses that are so discreet looking, no one will easily see you're wearing them. I promise, sweetie......believe me: there are well other things to worry about than this.

Don't worry about it at the end of the summer you can decide which way you want to go. I wear glasses and so does my mom, but my sister prefers contacts. This comes down to a personal choice answer. I would give it a good year with ur glasses and then reevaluate at your next eye doctor appointment. When you go next time just ask for some trial contacts and see which you like better.

Well, i dont think so. lots of people are wearing glasses now just to wear them. its a fashion thing. if u pick the right ones, nobody will care, they'll just think u've made another change over the summer like everyone else does when they come back to school. ukno? everyone comes back to school looking totally different from the year before. i think ur just a little nervous about the new year. u should be fine! good luck!

Sweety don't worry about what people say, as long as you see your way through life peoples bad comments will sly like butter. Comments will always be there no matter what, just listen to the good ones and the other ones don't pay mind.There's alot of people out there with eyeglasses and they don't care what people say. So you shouldn't worry at all. Go to school with your head up high and don't be shy. Go get them girl.

I was using contacts when a was a child, and yes ,people are really stupid and cruel, but you must to be prepared,it's the world we live and all that stupidity will make you stronger for sure.
But i recommend you why not try contacts, with contacts you will see much better than with glasses. Anyway you have to take glasses for using at home,then your eyes can rest.

A lot of ppl wear glasses, like me, and no one makes fun. Its glasses...so what?? Dont be afraid and stand up for yourself.
