This is a really sad story. When I was interning at a vet clinic when I was going to school to become a Veterinary Technician, a lady I worked with was talking about her cat Jake. He was Always an indoor cat, but started getting interested in the outdoors. So she started letting him go outside. He would always stay close, so she didn't worry too much. Well one day she was getting ready to leave for work, but couldn't find Jake. He had been out all night. But she just thought he was exploring, so she came to work. Later that day her neighbor called, she found Jake dead in her yard. Her two dogs had killed him. Jake lived with dogs, so he never had a fear of them. He probably thought the dogs wanted to play, and got too close, then he didn't know how to protect himself. When she found out she started Balling!! She felt so guilty for not looking for him before she left for work, and even deciding to let him be an outdoor cat in the first place.
My cats stay indoors because I worry that they will get attacked by a dog, hit by a car, or picked up by a sicko..

I haven't seen it with my own eyes but my husband did find a dead kitten in our rottweilers dog pin and came in the house and told me about what the dog had done cause he found it in there in her cage !! And you should know that some dogs will kill a cat or a kitten and also some dogs will kill a puppy !! I had a puppy once at my sisters house and her dog that was a pit and tied up killed a puppy that had went over to it, the puppy didn't know better !!! But the dog just killed it !! You have to know your dog ! and start them at a young age getting use to other kinds of animals so they won't end up killing them or fighting them !

Yes. I have heard a number of horror stories about dogs pinning cats in areas where they can't escape and when they were unable to get the dog a vulnerable spot, the dog got the better of them.

yeah, my dad had a huge grey cat when he was younger that weighed 20 pounds so it was really hard for her to get around and the neighbors had this really mean dog. the poor cat got bit in the neck by the dog and died cause for some reason the dog wanted to attack her but she couldnt get away. it was a really bad dog though, and the owner didnt ever do anything about it.

You did no longer point out if the weimaraner had food/toy aggression themes in the previous. Even growling ought to point out a extra extreme situation. yet another situation... you will have regarded into the breed. i could never convey a searching breed into the comparable living house as a toy canines or a cat... fantastically no longer a toy canines breed widespread to be slightly snippy itself. additionally, determine you bypass to a reliable breeder. a reliable breeder could breed and raise canines that have a reliable temperament around smaller creatures... or they could have been elevating searching inventory that does no longer be reliable around smaller creatures. It seems such as you probably did the wonderful factor looking a sparkling living house for the canines. yet another poster became impressive with reference to the aggression in direction of products. If a toddler reaches for a toy, the toddler must be bit. additionally, with different smaller canines, you do no longer choose the difficulty of holding him separate. whether you probably did no longer have little ones or different smaller canines, you may consistently see him in a diverse easy - which you will or won't be waiting to deal with. For the small canines' protection each and every physique's emotional properly being, he ought to locate a sparkling living house.

I watched it happen. Dogs will kill a cat. We had a deer hunting dog that I watched kill my cat and then he brought it to me like it was a present. I was completly destroyed. I was only 12.
Then my cat of 18 years was killed by my uncles pitt/bulldog mix. That was bad too. I am a huge animal lover so anything like that hurts me.

Yes. When I was 14 my cat was killed by the 2 german shepards who lived across the street. She would walk across the top of their fence and one day she lost her balance and fell into their yard. They tore her to pieces. It was horrible.
