I AM A BLACK FEMALE WHO IS MORE ATTRACTED TO WHITE MEN. BUT IM TOO NERVOUS TO APPROACH THEM BECAUSE THEY MIGHT NOT LIKE ME BACK. AND THIS GUY WHO I HAVE A CRUSH ON IS WHITE. I WAS JUST WONDERING... WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT DATING BLACK WOMEN?

The racial card is getting old. If two people have a good relationship with each other, then the color of their skin is not relevent. If the two of you enjoy each others company then you should see if a relationship could develop.

There was an article on the web that showed successful black women was breaking the color barrier and marrying white men. They attributed several factors, but it was that men had ego problems with a wife who was more successful than him.

I happen to know that white men like black women, I've dated more than a few. Obviously you haven't paid any attention to your history or you would know that the attraction that white men have for black women is hundreds if not thousands of years old. White men have a tendency to be attracted to black women that are strong in their heritage, and know where they come from. No pseudo black-wanna-be will attract the attention of a white man, since they have the real thing represented in white women. So if you really want the attention of a white man, bone up on your history and your ethnic birth right so that what you offer them is the genuine article; a real black woman and not one who wishes that she was white, looks and acts that way too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not accusing you of being fake. I'm just speaking from my own personal experience. I have dated white men from various backgrounds, rich, poor, young and older. They are men like any other, except they have a different race and culture.
