What the heck is up with this forum lately???

Am I the only one's who's notice that this forum has gotten a lot nastier lately? I mean it seems like just about everyone has a stalker reporting every single answer or question just because we disagree with their view. Is that what we are suppose with people that don't agree with us, are we suppose to stalk and harass them?Let it be known that I'm talking to some of the antis AND the pros. This is just plain stupid. Just recently two of my contacts have had their accounts suspended and I can't help but to notice that some of the antis are on new accounts every few days and I've never seen any of them post something that violated the YA guidelines. I know that people feel strongly about immigration but I've never seen a forum with so much cattiness. Not to mention all of the trolls and fake accounts (from both sides).

I mean this a political forum not a bad Jerry Springer episode I know that I'm young and have a lot to learn but never in my entire life have I seen a group of adults act so immature

I agree with you completely. I actually had a one-word answer pulled recently. It was "yes"...... I have also had questions pulled.

I hope that soon the childish behavior will stop. I am thinking that the trolls will either go back to junior high or get bored and leave us alone....

I know, that just happened to me. A racist didn't like me calling him racist and had my answer removed. It is sad that people are attacked for giving an opinion or disagreeing when it is those who report you that make rude comments. We only disagree but don't offend. Maybe the truth hurts? The thing that bothers me the most is when people attack their own race. Like some out there, mixed with Mexican, looking more Mexican than most, attacking the illegals and complaining when someone in his/her family (legally or illegally)had to come from the same place illegals come from.

Your totally right . People seem to think if you disagree with them your in the wrong . We came to this country to make a new home because the ones we left were poor and had little to give it's people . That started over 200 yrs ago before we had oil wells and factories . Now there are countries who can support the people but don't . Those who have want to keep it all from those who don't . If we don't stop or slow down the border crossings people are going to start taking the laws into their own hands . In Texas there are now several militia groups who have many followers and backers who believe it is time to start sending illegals back home either on a bus or in a box. I only wonder which side is going to fire the first shot . We declared independence from England in July of 1776 not long after on a small bridge a single shot was fired and it started a war that lasted 4 years and gave us a new country . To this day we still don't know who fired that shot or why but the results are on going to this day . What side will you take when the next shot is heard around the world ?

What is up with it is that were in the politics section. Even in some politician meetings things could get nasty, by people getting threatened or manipulated to vote a certain way or sometimes you see fist fights with politicians that have a disagreement. It is all about power and control and no one wants to lose since were competitive and live in an individualistic culture even if we see the other persons point and it makes sense we will find a way to dismiss, disprove, or deny it just to think I/we won. But that's why politicians sometimes never get anywhere because they can't compromise, they can't step out of their own skin and put them self in someone Else's. most of us are all American citizens from different ethnicity's and were just bashing each other, and adding fuel to the fire over immigration and some small poor group is now a target for everyone to gang up on. The trolls that sounds like a good name for a gang but they need a few rivals.

I remember this same question being ask over a year ago by a "smart" man. But it was different than. There was a sensible reason for FAKE IDS. It wasn't just people "wanting to be something their not". Its a bore now. Strange the things I have found out about people through him-he used to be friendly with some but they never were his type. It is not that there isn't some good, nice, funny -wise posters here--just few.
And they are being "infected" by the sickness of some here, Many can be so much better. I have seen some who I think are very smart, good, wise, good sense even funny. And we like their comments. They bring enjoyment, But you have to have the right heart to begin with. So few have that. And some are in a slump--many see that too. .I still have hope for them. Perhaps it is because of what this has become. And you can't mix right and wrong and expect better, It doesn't work that way. Or Fools with Wise, or the senseless with those who have a sense or those with values with those who change them to fit their selfish needs.

The forum would be better without those who have the bad issues of above. But some just repeat and repeat the same garbage. Its a bore!

So that is what is wrong with forum now. Its a Different answer now -than when I answered this a year ago to a very special friend now.

No surprise on PODS (trolls-clones etc)- ""YOU""" know -below average quality and they commonly repeat the same old stuff. I might answer one even though they are a Bore and repeat questions--. So others can see the waste of Yahoo.and those who lap their waste up. But I prefer the better post. and ones who don't repeat questions from others or look for attention.

I have to concur and its starting to turn me off from using this forum. What I think is fueling it is the nature of the immigration debate at the moment. Right now the situation is not going to be solved any time soon and most people realize it. The antis know they are going to have to deal with a "path to citizenship" eventually. The pros know its not going to be a cakewalk to citizenship.

No, I had noticed that also, some say that you just a 16 year old child, but I am 41 and I dont see nothing wrong with your responses or question, to me you are just a down to earth person, and most of the cases people don't like to hear the truth, go on, and don't let nobody sshhhyou, you have the right to speak your mind, and whosoever dont like this response, can give a thumbs down, I HAVE A LOT OF POINTS. I noticed the hate.
But I got my account suspended almost a month ago because people would report me, and that was stupid. But I got a new one (here it is) and I've only had 1 report violation.

But people are sad that they have to create new accounts as "trolls" that's really depressing and sad that they don't have lives. I remember when someone created an account posing as you, and i wondered to myself "what a sad loser, that he/she has to make that account because he/she doesn't like another Yahoo user."

I guess all this hate only goes on on Friday nights.

I haven't been on here as much as I used to. To me it is starting to feel like a waste of time. Although occasionally I do come back from time to time. It is sad to see that the name calling and reporting have gotten worse. I was accused of doing the reporting and now that I haven't been on here as much people are still getting suspended. So maybe mickey and her gang will leave my name out of their mouths once and for all.

This forum has always been kind of messed up. I come here to post my opinions, but don't take it too seriously. It's the only place where a racist that calls Mexicans names like "whetback" and "stupid beaner" gets 20 Thumbs Up, but someone who just disagrees with them without calling anyone names gets 100 Thumbs Down.

But I've said this before, I'm not planning on hanging out or partying with anyone here, so it's like who cares!
