I would have parents sign waivers for party. I would fully explain all the risks and rules to them, and ask them if they're happy with the party idea and theme. I would then gateger the kids and explain some guidelines before the "UFC competition begins."

Some of these answerers are far harsher than they need to be, but I agree to the extent that this isn't a very good idea at all, especially at this age. 8 year old kids won't know how far to take things or to know when to tap out, when to let up, etc. If they're given free reign, no holds barred, then you're probably going to be looking at some injuries and you could definitely face a lawsuit of some kind from parents unless you got some sort of a waiver for them to sign. Personally, I would just drop the idea altogether to avoid any injuries. Maybe replace it with a quick lesson on MMA from an instructor or something? Something that's light and easy to learn, just to give a sample, and avoid any injuries.

Are You Crazy?

One Of The Kids Could Get Severely Hurt!

I Say You Call That Theme Off!

(At Least For The Sake Of The Kids)

You Idiot!!!!!!!!

I assume that you are trying to make a point that kids should not be watching the UFC. I dont think that the UFC really markets to kids that young. They are professionals and they know what they are getting into. Nobody has ever died from a sanctioned MMA event.

If your not joking your an idiot and should be put in jail for something this stupid. Not only can a law suit be filed against you but what happens if one of your 8 year olds puts another child in a coma or worse, kills him/her?

I hope you are not serious and I am guessing you are not. Most likely you are trying to get a rise out of everyone.

Otherwise a very bad idea.

yeah man that kinda sounds like a dumb idea man. you could get in trouble for real if someone got hurt and one of the parents wanted to pursue it.
