i have just started dating agin and met a great guy he's never been married but has a 16 year old son,he is 41 and we met online have talked alot and on the phone too and we have been on 4 dates all great! but i can't get more than a peck from him, i don't want to rush things but i would love to have a nice long romatic kiss, why is this part taking so long? i have givin plenty of hints thats it's ok but still nothig, i don't want to scare him off by being to forward but i'm about to burst, what am i to do!!!!!!!!!help

yes, you might scare him away, but it is time for some "kill it or cure it measures".
i would guess he is afraid of something, a good kiss might cure it. but even if he runs home crying, you are going to die of , um, frustration soon anyways.
in fact, you can go a lot further if he likes the kiss. it just might straighten him out.

You are not doing something ( unintentionally ) that is sending him the wrong message.
Next time tell him he looks great. He smells good, etc. Make him feel confident. He might think he will be rejected.
The problem with long kisses in the 40's is that hormones get on.
He might be taking his time. After all, who can know what a guy is thinking.

Not sure what's wrong with being forward, especially if it's what you want, the next time he leans in for a peck, grab his face and kiss him the way you wanted him to.
Men don't read minds. Take the lead, he might be pleasantly surprised. By the way, what does age have to do with it? :D

Ask him. Maybe he has a reason, illness (ie disease), or maybe he has performance issues if you know what I mean. Maybe he is afraid of it going to far and being embarassing for him. Honest, open communication is always the best.

you can tell that you are not used to a man of this caliber. maybe he dont see you in the way. maybe he has to much respect for that he want to be sure and careful. maybe you should slow your horses and just move to his beat. if it is meant to happen then it will. GodBless
