Blaspheme the Holy Spirit

2007-08-24 16:04:39 · answer #1 · answered by guitarrman45 7 · 1 0

According to the Bible, the only thing that God will not forgive is rejecting Him. Suicide is not listed anywhere in the Bible as an unforgivable sin. That is an old Catholic Doctrine.

We can not begin to fathom why a convicted murderer, or child abuser can go to Heaven, but a good, law abiding person go to Hell. But the Bible says that if you confess your sins, and truly repent, and as the Lord for forgiveness, you will be forgiven.

All who accept Christ will go to Heaven. Then we can ask God all we wish to know.

He said if you blasphem the Holy spirit you will not be forgiven. Luke 12:10
You cannot be forgiven for those sins in which you have not repented of....that's the other but that is resolvable by simply asking for forgiveness and changing your ways...the other is you can't do anything about...

The Bible says the only sin not forgiven is the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 12:31-32
This means rejecting Christ

When someone asks a question such as this I think of a Christian, German concentration camp guard at Auschwitz in 1944. He has a loving family who he takes to church every Sunday without fail. On this day, he is leading a family of Jews to their deaths in the gas chamber. Here's where things get confusing for me. According to the bible, all the German guard must do is accept Jesus as his savior and the son of god and ask for forgiveness of this terrible sin of multiple murders of innocent victims, and he will dwell in heaven forever when he dies after living a long and fruitful life. The innocent Jewish family, however, because they don't believe just as the German does, after having their lives cut miserably short and not allowed to bring up children have, grandchildren and enjoy the other niceties of life like the German will enjoy, will burn in hell for eternity. That's just sick man.

The meaning and purpose of human life that was assigned by god himself is that humans create new knowledge, which they do very efficiently and effectively. God will never forgive the christians for opposing this and costing the human race 10,000 years of created knowledge and causing a thousand years of "dark ages".

He has damned them all to hell.

yes there is something God will not forgive IGNORANCE IS NO EXCUSE.
(2 Thessalonians 1:6-9) 6 This takes into account that it is righteous on God’s part to repay tribulation to those who make tribulation for YOU, 7 but, to YOU who suffer tribulation, relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels 8 in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. 9 These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength. . .

(Matthew 7:13-14) 13 “Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.

(Matthew 7:21-23) 21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

(Hebrews 10:26) . . .For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left. . .

As far as the Christian god, I believe blasphemy(sp?) is the only
thing that you can't be forgiven of.

Murder and rape are fine if you're sincerely sorry, but NO, IF YOU DENY GOD YOU'LL GO TO HELL.

Meh.
