yes you can!!! set the oven for 10 minutes earlier and watch it! I go by smell.. but most people are more comfortable with a timer

Sure, banana cake mix and muffin mix are the same, basically. All you're really doing differently is putting the mixture into a different sized pan.

Catzrme is correct. Use less water to make muffins. It usually tells on the box how to prepare muffins or a loaf cake.

Yes. But it only needs about 20 minutes or so to bake. Check with a toothpick inserted into one muffin to check for doneness...do not overbake! Toothpick should come out clean.
