I have this friend tht has developed a crush on 1 or our friends. With school started, he has had the opportunity to ask her to get a meal. It was after a night class, and with her baby @ the baby-sitters, she declined. However, all through the class, she was all flirty with him. In my opinion, she has a mixed opinion of the situation. What do u think?

maybe her commitments (her baby) make her a bit hesitant to get involved with someone new - maybe she's just playing hard to get

Well, I think maybe your friend feels the same way, except that it was at night already and she didn't think it was a good idea for the baby sitter to work extra hours. Not to mention her going out with a guy she liked and leaving her baby with the nanny would show what a selfish, inconsiderate mother she is; a mother with no maternal instincts, because if you're a parent you always have to put your children ahead of everything. So maybe when the guy asked her out, she didn't feel like it was the right time for them to be together.

Sounds to me like she isn't sure what to do. The guy should go for a woman who's sure of herself and let miss mother friend figure herself out before she gets all flirty and mixed message signal acting.

its not rejection, although what you should be asking is why are you so curious about this guy.?

It's her life so please allow her to deal with this matter. She's your friend, not your child.
