There Are Many "Home Remedies" For Going Lighter But, Most Damage Your Hair In The Process. The Best (And Easiest And LEAST Damaging) Is To Get Your Hair "Highlighted" Or "Multi-Lighted" At Home Or In A Salon.

If you are going to be in the sun - lemon juice will do a more subtle job of lightening your hair. It probably depends on how dark your brown hair is. Mine is a dark blonde naturally (almost a light brown) but lemon juice works great - especially on days when I am at the beach all day. Just squeeze the juice of a couple lemons into a clean squirt bottle and add a bit of water to make it squirtable. Good luck.

no.....that will ruin your hair....if you insist on llightening your hair.....in a hurry.....one can buy developer and bleach(lightener) for under $10.00. That way you are least using the proper chemical and your hair will not be destroyed.....
you can get it at your local beauty supply....
don't run the risk of destroying your hair

Please don't use anything in your home it will turn out to be a nightmare but if you insist I'm pretty sure peroxide should bleach it out but it won't be pretty.
