It depends on how dry your hair is, I wouldn't use it unless it is very dry and only a small amount. When I used to have really dry hair I would put a small amount of baby lotion in it after it was dry and it would look a lot healthier and shiny.

You can use just a bit if your hair is really dry but it's really hard to wash out & baby oil is mainly mineral oil which clogs pores.

I suggest you try a tiny drop of 100% pure jojoba oil instead. Jojoba oil is non-comdegenic, washes out easily, has no scent, and adds a little bit of sheen.

do you mean to leave in your hair when you're out and about? If so, I wouldn't say so... I don't believe its good for your hair to be coated with oil.

No. The reason why some ingredients are bad for your hair. It will make your hair too oily and limp looking.
