a challenge...?

ok, i want to know how I get a boyfriend. I'm going into highschool this year, and I'm not desperate or anything, I know I'll live without one, but it would be nice to have somebody to talk to and kiss and just generally chill with, ya know? I've already been sold the be yourself scheme, so thats no problem... Only respond if you have real advice, be yourself, shake your money maker, and you dont need one yet dont count as real peices of advice. I'm 5 foot 10 and I weigh 175 pounds and I have short reddish hair and i spike it in the back and i have green eyes, and i dress pretty odd, im nice and kinda smart, sometimes i walk backwards, and i talk with funny voices, i play the drums and read lots and lots of books. i have a couple guyfriends and one or two female friends, im kindof shy if i dont know you, and yeah, thats about it... i like all kinds of music so that doesnt really matter. but i dont want some sleazy jock kindof guy, just a nice person to hang with... please help

I've already got a best friend, he's short and black and has fashion-sense. If I need another he better be tall and cute and just like a best friend, but with benefits, as in kissing...

What you do to attract a guy is act like your not interested at all, in fact if you find one you like make sure you see him often yet never notice him. Does that make sense??

Make sure your around him enough that he sees you everyday yet not so much that he'll think your planning it. Then talk to your friends in front of him, say things that will capture his attention but never look at him, never speak directly to him. You seem like a smart girl, clever and unique. That's probably what your looking for in a guy. What are his interests? Did you overhear him once say something about a certain band, then tell someone something cool about that band within his earshot. But again, don't tell him. Or is he an adult swim fan? Do a little research on his cartoon of choice and pick a character from his show, get a sticker or draw a picture of it on a notebook he'll be sure to see. But again, don't show it to him just let him see it. But don't tell anyone what your doing, friends will mess it up for you by oohing and ahhing when he comes around.

The most important thing to remember is that a man wants to feel as if he has chosen you. So you have to give him a reason to choose you. Men like women that are confident, and they like women who see themselves as sexy. If you believe it so will they.

I just had to say that......If I had to guess your sun sign I'd say Aquarius.....but anyways, I know the feeling. I'd say if you're going to dress odd just make sure you dress relatively sexy/feminine, cuz no guy wants to see a girl dress in baggy scruff clothes with no shape. Also, I wanted to point out that you seem eccentric. I love eccentric people and lots of people tell me I am one, but you should try not to be eccentric in your relations with people. For instance, don't act weird to people. I used to narrate people for them like in Stranger than Fiction. It was hilariously fun, but after awhile most people get creeped out or just plain sick of hearing it. You have to be likeable, and balance that out with your own personality.
