how long after having a psych evaluation will i know if i get ssi?

I've done all the paperwork and stuff, got all that squared away, i had my psych evaluation today, and i was wondering how long after today should it take to find out if im accepted or denied for SSI?

Hard to say how long.
I kept my application current for 18mo. AFTER all the tests and exams were completed.
After 18 mo. the last appeal for my SSI claim was denied.

A lot of people say "expect a turn-down the first time through...it may be approved on appeal"
