black and white themed room, where to get decor? (chairs, bedding, etc)?

looking for urban kind of mod typed stuff. places to get it?

Do you want to spend lots of $$$$$ or do you want to get by
very cheap?
If it were me I'd go to the local thrift stores and used furniture places. Find the style you like, buy what you like no matter the color of the wood,metal or plastic, go to Wal-Mart and buy spray paint in the colors of your choice.
I furnished an apartment in the French Quarter in New Orleans in the early 70s in White & chrome. Everything came from Goodwill, Salvation Army and the side of the road.

If you have an IKEA store or outlet near you, they have tons of black and white furniture, computer desks, comforter and sheet sets, shelving, bookcases, tables, chairs, rugs, dishes, linens - just about anything you'd need for a home and they are fairly priced. You also might want to look them up online and check out their goods and products along with prices. Usually lots of modern decor, too! If you want to get a bit pricier, there is Crate & Barrel with everything from kitchen ware to bedding to furniture. My one suggestion is that with all the black and white, I'd throw in a few objects with color, for example, lemon yellow throw pillows, yellow area rug or go with red, lime or neon blue, anything that pops; just splashes but stay in the same color group throughout for your accent color. You really don't want to feel as if you're in a zebra patch, do you? It sounds as if you're place is going to look great once finished! Good luck!

Walmart is starting to sell really cute stuff now. Also, target on line will be of great help along with pier1 which you can also get online. Happy Hunting!

ikea has some sweet retro looking things in black and white. Also try target, or even pottery barn........ any furniture store has great stuff like that... especially in black and white
