Yes, I believe so. God has many ways of speaking to us, through music, through art... If the bible truly was God's word, he has had alot to say since then that people aren't listening to.

No, but ironically enough, in the height of their popularity, John Lennon was highly criticized for claiming at that time that "the Beatles are more popular than Jesus Christ". There was tons of backlash, naturally, and he later apologized and explained he was just trying to show a comparison.
But the worst part of his story is that Mark David Chapman, Lennon's killer, took great offense to that comment, and that was (one) reason that he targeted Lennon.
(Just a little bit of triva for ya. FYI, I am a Christian, and I like the Beatles, and John Lennon, esp, "Imagine". I thought his murder was a tragedy.)

The Beatles were a band and John Lennon was a singer/songwrighter. Nothing more. Although John Lennon was awesome, don't care much for Yoko.

Oh my goodness...For real? The beatles were great musicians...but that's all. It was the times...when pretty much all the music was about peace, love, drugs, flower power. John Lennon was killed by someone with severe mental illness. How is that being martyred?

False prophets. God finally got fed up with John after he told everyone they didn't need Jesus Christ.
They preached fornication, substance abuse and rebellion and ruined a lot of people's lives. Yes, organized religion is wrong for the most part. People have gotten away from having a personal relationship with Christ and are mostly into a lot of useless rituals.

The Beatles where and are mostly about money, big time materialism . They would sing things such as "all you nee is love" while high on LSD ridding in a Rolls Royce.
