Jesus had no fashion sense at all. He considered worrying about how one looked to be the height of vanity.
After all, thats what the Romans did.
However, even though he was not into fashion, Jesus was an extremely handsome and well-formed man. His looks and his athletic physique from years of carpenter work were not diminished just because he dressed like a laborer.
Think Brad Pitt in a toga or something like that. He was a very striking and exceptional man. Even dressed simply, his charisma and presence were almost overwhelming
On the other hand Pontius Pilate, King Herod, Ciaphas; they all were extremely fashion-conscious and spent a fortune on each new fad, trying to outdo one another at banquets and spectator events.
Years later, after Jesus survived the Jewish/Roman conspiracy to execute him on the cross and escaped to the east with his wife, Mary Magdeline, some of his friends and family to teach in Asia, his friends and students prevailed upon him to wear the traditional robes of the wandering darvish teacher. Even though Jesus had never been into fashion, he did it for the dignity it would command since teachers in Asia must look the part or no one will listen.
He was known in the Himalayas as Sant Yeshua Maharaj of Judea.
In Buddhist circles he was called Lama Isa the Nazerene
In Persia and Babylon he was called Yuz ibn Aseph and was honored by kings and beggars alike. His tomb lies still in a secret location in the Kashmir Valley, unforgotten and honored forever by a group of dedicated priests. The small temple he designed and built for an obscure but devout Sumerian king still stands in southern Iraq to this day.
Strange how organized religions distort history to promote their own dogma innit?

Jesus didn't even have a coin with which to pay tribute so He sent Peter to get one out of a fishes mouth. He said, birds have nests and foxes have holes but I have no place to lay my head. He came into this world as a servant but in reality, He was the great Creator. So many in today's society speak ill of Jesus' stance on servants and masters, but He was a servant while here. His teaching is plain that those who serve honorably, as He served, will be rewarded in heaven. Being a faithful servant, even to an evil master, will be rewarded by the owner & creator of ALL THINGS! Jesus behaved and dressed as a servant but He is the KING!

Yes, he was the fashioner of words with the power to change hearts, minds, and civilizations, as any fair-minded observer can see from history.

I think by today's standard he was a jeans and t-shirt guy. That's why it's really hard for me to listen to someone wearing a silk Armani suit talk about Christ.

I'm afraid his time didn't have much fashion to choose from.

But he was most definetly a trend setter as said before.

Lets see, he wore robes and sandals. Something that is currently not acceptable in today's churches. So the answer is no.
