I cannot believe it ! There is no trading paint - no tempers flaring up - no fighting for the inside lane because there are so many lanes to race in now. Nobody pushing the guy in front of him out of the way to get by. I can't believe it....

THEY HAVE RUINED THE RACE AT BRISTOL.

I think I'll go nuts if tomorrow nights race isn't any better.
What do you all you fine racing fans think? Is it just me or did the Busch race show how they have ruined traditional Bristol ?

That's where you have the "Race for the Chase" to thank (unlike the Busch series). I can think of about 5 teams off the top of my head who will go balls to the wall tomorrow at Bristol: 12, 8, 2, 11, & just about any of the cars up in the standings that have already clinched a Chase berth and will going for wins over points to increase their standing when the Chase begins. As far as I know only the surface has changed, not the width or length of the track. So room to race will still a tight fit. Plus, though he would never admit it, Jeff Gordon may still be looking for retribution from Matt Kenseth after their little mixup last...I mean this week...at MIS. And if Jaun Pablo even looks at Kevin Harvick the wrong way watch out! I have high hopes for this one. I think it'll still be a good one to watch.

Rusty Wallace gave the new surface a 10 and I think everyone is having to relearn it due to the new surface and with more lanes to race on that means you could see cars going 3 wide on the straight aways and in the corners and possibly wrecking. Then you can pass someone more efficiently and their is definitely going to be trading paint. NASCAR Cup Drivers are more aggressive.

theres been alot of caution flags tonight...racing and wrecking 11 cautions so far...looks like a bristol demolition derby...tomorrow night, should be wild...Just think of all the wrecks montoya could have tomorrow night...yikes, just the tought is scarey...15 laps to go...I'm sure there will be more cautions...just a typical thunder valley race, wrecks and cautions....

Actually, I think they made the RACING better. At least now it won't be a 500 lap Demolition Derby with $100,000 cars.

Lots of passing....Great Race!!!!!
