how come i didint get to choose he color of my braces?

Question

i got braces today.
but they just put metal thing.
no color?

will i get to choose next time???
or will they always be like that..

honestly i dont mind. but i was just wondering

It is possible that they havent finished putting your braces all together, sometimes they put on the brackets but not the wires and bands. The colors are just rubber bands that go around the bracket and hold the wire in place. Some new kinds of braces dont use bands at all, so if that is what you have, then no colors for you! Good luck and just be glad you dont have the old kinds with bands that covered each tooth.

lol i had braces once too, the first time is always no color. To tell you the truth, putting in the color is pretty painful at first. They use special kind of tweezers and put the iny color ruber bands on your braces and it presses down on your teeth making it sensitive. The next time they will ask you what color you want. im sure

it is possible that ur dentist dont have colors and just put brackets and if that is true they well always be plain but if he has the o rings (color rings) and he doesnt let u choose ask him if u can add the colors and if he says no sorry and if he says yes stay away from the clear whites and yellows because they make ur teeth look yellow and the clear and white well die to the food u eat have fun

If you got the Damon System of braces, there is no colour. The brackets have sliding doors that hold the wire in place, instead of coloured plastic washers.

if u just got them on u need to get used to brushing them the colors make it harder to brush i had to wait a month or so to get it!!
