Being that I work at a mission board of the christian faith, I'd have to say, Life style. The follows of Jesus was called Christians because they were Christ-like.

Although I do not work for a church, I think in many ways my job is a Life style. I work with children with special needs. I pray daily that the Lord protects and guides me and these kids in every sense of the Word. Although this is done in quiet, I know that the Lord uses me to show these children that there is a "difference" in people. With the way the laws are these days, I can't offer up a God based praise or recommendation to anyone at work or the kids I help, but I know that every minute I spend with them is an opportunity for God to work through me.

Well, at the moment, I don't have enough social life to have a lifestyle....or my only job is to clean house, iron, cook, walk dog, feed cats and dog....feed husband,,,,well actually he feeds himself, but I have to cook and clean and do laundry,,,and cook and clean.....it's a BIG job....I'm worn out just thinking about it....but the center of our home is Jesus Christ and when I feel whiney, I remember what he did for me and I am grateful for my life and all the good and the not so great.

Well, I am a teacher, so I guess it turns out that at times it is my lifestyle. I find myself explaining things to random children, sometimes even while shopping. I have a hard time hearing a question asked that I know the answer to , and not answering it. After all, somebody is curious, and they deserve an answer. I also find myself giving the patented blank stare "teacher look" to my own children, or sadly, even to misbehaving children that I do not even know.:>

A sentence that you are obligated to serve. Like Mother Teresa who doubted that there was a God or Heaven, but had to serve till the end. See newspapers for Mother T's confessions if you have not read them.

My job is a ministry that God calls me to. It's not officially a ministry that anyone would recognize, but he calls me to my job just as he calls me to a congregation and he calls me to love and cherish my wife and children. He also calls me to love my fellow man, but not as specifically as he's called me to a congregation, my wife, or my job.

It's just a job. I enjoy it, but it is still just a job.
