In my years of being a christian, I find that the ones that reject Christ as you put it, or turn there back on him are the ones that have had something that they've been praying for but didn't get an answer at the time that they thought they should. It wouldn't matter if it were of the Islam belief or of any other. They expect God to be like the microwave that sits in our home. Sometimes we don't have patience with it either. I'm 461/2 years old. I got saved when I was 12 and there's only one prayer that I've been praying for that hasn't been answered, but I'm always gonna believe that one day I'll get that prayer through. It's not that he (God) doesn't hear me, it's just that he's working out other things that may effect my walk with him. I Love Him and Always will. I feel sorry for those that couldn't wait on Jesus Christ and see exactly what it is that he does have for them.

I have close friends that converted although I didnt know so many were converted as to make people start asking questions
My friends claim Islam took off from the teachings of the master now known as Jesus without going into the perversions of the western Jewish Christian Power perversions that we currently have as the collective Jewish beliefs and all the Various Christian Churches
sorry -beyond that at this point in time I see no reason to elaborate if you can comprehend the above written answer

Because of the mess which the noisiest churches have made from the Christian religion. Those who take a superficial look at islam suppose that it requires fewer impossible things to believe. In fact it accepts all the biblical miracles, virgin birth etc and moslems even believe in the second coming of Jesus. Most of Islam is founded on Christian heresy, just like the fundamentalist churches. (anyway, the only gospel which claims Jesus died to atone for our sins, is the gospel of Luke).

There are many reasons why a person converts to Islam from Christianity. As one of those people, I can tell you that when I learned about Islam, it made so much sense to me and filled in the gaps that the Bible and no pastor ever could. I don't hate Christianity, I don't hate Jesus (in fact, I respect him so much more now), and I have nothing against Christians. I was blessed to be shown a path that fits with me like a puzzle piece.
Although I was taught to believe Jesus died for my sins, I see such a different picture now. I'm not a sinner unless I sin, and even when I do, it's God who forgives me if He wills. I don't have to ask someone else for forgiveness, and I don't need someone to interceede between myself and God. He's all knowing, all hearing, all seeing, and no one has the power but Him.
I find it so strange that non-Muslims answering (in this case particularly Christians) think that they have the knowledge and authority to answer about the intentions of a Muslim, lol!

One answer would be, if they are men then most probably because they want to have more than one wife which Islam allows!
Secondly, clearly they did not appreciate the infinite sacrifice that Jesus made for them. Which means they were Christian only for name sake.
Thirdly, Christianity allows dissension exactly like the God it preaches about. There is no compulsion in religion. Even Quran says that but only for the sake of saying. Muslims would chop off the head of those who leave Islam.
And lastly, listen to those Muslims who converted from Islam. Nothing can deter them from preaching about Christ. Not even the threats by Islamists because they have embraced a religion that knows how to give life not take it, how to spread love not hatred.

Interesting question.
For me, it was the availability of a historically unaltered scripture, available in the language of revelation, and supported by authenticated eyewitness accounts of the revelation and of the life, times, and character of the prophet to whom it was revealed.
It was the result of more than two decades' study of religion, more than two decades' prayer for guidance.
It was guidance from God.
By the way, Islam teaches that Jesus, God bless him and grant him peace, did not die on the cross, but was raised to heaven alive, and will return in the Last Days to conquer the anti-Christ and rule the world. This belief, rather than a rejection of Jesus, God bless him and grant him peace, is an affirmation of his purity and of his importance to God and to humankind.

There is no compulsion in Religion, Right has been made distinct from error (Quran).
I believe Christianity allows freedom of choice? So do all religions.
Plus, what someone does in terms of their own personal spirituality and connection with God.. is to be between God and the person. I think people should pay more attention to what they do, and less to what others are doing.
After all.. We will all be judged separately. No one carries anyones sins or good deeds.
Peace&Love

1Jn 2:18 Little children, it is a last hour, and as you heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have risen up, from which you know that it is a last hour.
1Jn 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they were of us, they would have remained with us; but they left so that it might be revealed that they all are not of us.
A true born again, spirit filled, redeemed, forgiven, justified believer does not leave the faith. Once you have tasted the freedom Christ gives, you will not go under bondage.
Joh 18:8 Jesus answered, I told you that I AM; then if you seek Me, allow these to depart,
Joh 18:9 (that the Word might be fulfilled which He said, "Of those whom You gave to Me, I lost not one of them)."
Jesus will not lose one called out saint of God.

Those Christians that move away from Christianity are not embracing Islam, they are moving away from religion. I doubt very much you have more than a token headcount of Christians that have converted to Islam. I also doubt that any of them were Woman.

If I may refer to the apostle Paul to answer this question - In Timothy 4:1; Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
