I have tried hot water over the plastic covering. I have tried the heat from my hands. Is there something that I could use inside the plastic holders before adding the Smoothie mixture?

Maybe you should try puting plastic wrap in the tray before you pour the smoothie in. Then, you can easily pop it out once it's frozen.

If you dont want to use anything, you can just take the tray, turn it upside-down and pop out the popsicles of your choice like ice cubes.

Just let it defrost for a few minutes then just slowly take it out , be patient. Maybe bang it a little bit to. Hope it helps
