Hello sweet Lady Morgana.. :)
Gee..What does a person beliefs or thoughts, have to do with renting an apartment to them..
I would not only rent to them..but I would also invite them to my home, so we could get to know one another.. :)
If I had more that one apartment for rent, I may ask them (witch) one they wanted to rent..
I say the above with Love and admiration.. :)
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..your Friend..In Christ.. :)

If it were a Christian owned building on church property for specific Christian use...i.e. affordable housing for Christian families or singles, etc, then no I would not rent to them because of the specific uses set aside for the building, and certainly based upon the faith of the congregation. I would feel bad that I could not help them, and would probably try to send them somewhere that could.
If it were a non church building, not on church property...then law does not allow race, religious preference or lifestyle choices to be a determination of consumer's rights...and having a Wiccan tenant is no different than having a practicing Mormon, Orthodox Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or Zoroastrian. What a person does in their apartment is subject to the rules that apply to all tenants. Religious freedom is what makes this country unlike the majority of the world.
In this case I would be happy to get to know them and try to be the best landlord they had ever had.
The owner of the building has the right to use the building as a public or private enterprise I would imagine based upon the zoning for that property, and it's usage is determined before even opening the doors. If it is public, then it is open to equal opportunity according to the law, and any owner knows this beforehand, or should. If any owner/landlord had a problem with renting to anyone for whatever reason, they could always sell the building if it became an issue with them because of the level of their faith.
If it is a private enterprise...as I said...specifically determined and dedicated for a religious function, then that is the only way a person can be denied usage based upon their religious preference or lifestyle choices....race is not an issue.
So all in all, it is not even an issue unless someone makes it one by taking away the right to religious freedom...trying to force a religious foundation to break faith in order to accommodate one who does not believe that faith.

Well, I don't necessarily agree with what Witches do and believe, but I wouldn't turn them away from necessary housing. I know how hard it is to find affordable housing and if I can give that to them I will, just as long as they keep things quiet and pay their rent on time. Every single human being on this earth deserves to have a warm bed to sleep in at night. Besides as some other posters pointed out, it is illegal to turn anybody away from housing because of religion, sexual orientation or race.

Yes. The Jesus we worship does not advocate that we hate, discriminate, or in any way cause hardship to those who are not of our faith. Being without a home is a hardship.
Part of my mission as a Chrisitian is to tell others about my God. Once they refuse Him, their choice is made and my job has been done. We are cautioned about being drawn away from our walk with Him. But we are not authorized to be anything less than kind and good towards others.

Absofreakinlutely.
And he/she could stay and have all the rituals he/she wanted as long as he/she paid the rent on time and invited me over for hot tea on cold days.
Blessed/Glory be.

As long as I get my rent and there is no complaints from other neighbors of any noise coming from the apartment after 10 pm at night it is fine with me!

May I remind you that scripture says:
" Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live"
Which is why in the uk and in europe in the middle ages thousands of perfectly innocent old 'biddies' were burned at the stake in the name of christianity.
To my knowledge there has never been any apology from the head of a christian church or sect!

How would I know she was a witch ?
My only concern would be her credit rating and if she was gainfully employed .What she practices is none of my business ,unless it is terrorism .
I don`t care if she worships a ROCK, as long as the rent is paid .

No one can refuse to rent to you based on religion. That's part of the fair housing act.

hey witches are humans and need a place to stay, too. if he or she made their views apparent to me, then i would tell them mine. God says to love everyone, even your enemies. That means giving them shelter if they need it.
and a side note to any christian who would call me a heathen: Jesus ate with the lowest of low. The best way to reach people is to show them Jesus's love, and how are you going to do that if you refuse to give them one of their basic nessecities - shelter?
