Actually there are several....Mayonnaise, or baby oil, or even olive oil all make great hair masks. Be sure to use on clean hair. Put on damp hair, cover with a plastic bag, then a towel. Relax for about an hour, then rinse well, shampoo, and rinse well again. If you use a good quality shampoo and conditioner you should have healthier hair. Don't use the junk sold in grocery/drug stores. Go to your local salon and have them show you what would work best for your hair type. Good Luck.

i hate split ends......the best way to get rid of them is too cut them off...but if u dont want any lenght to be cut off u must work with what uve got......

avocado is the most incredible thing that u can apply to the hair and it works wonders....it actually seals the split end,,

this is a mask

take on avocado , one egg, some cooking oil(vegtable, corn, olive) about 1/4 up and mix in the blender and apply to the hair for an hour.......

shampoo and rinse with cold water the hair will be soft and shiny and thse ends will look fab

well this really isn's a homemad recipe, but if you wash your hair with warm water, when you are done rinsing the shampoo/conditioner out, put cold water on it, so it can close the ends, to prevent more breakage.

you can use olive oil for dry hair. leave in it overnight, but for the split ends you would have to cut them off. if you dont they will continue to split up every strand of your hair leaving it looking like you have spider webs growing in your hair. good luck.
