Newsprint is not meant to last long. The paper will break down and yellow with age. Some people like this effect. You can minimalize the effect of oxygen and sunlight on the paper by sealing it in plastic. If you can find the original image on the newspaper's website, have it printed on acid-free paper and then frame the print. It will look much nicer down the road.

Haha! Yes, you can put it up. Newspaper doesn't have some magical ability to catch fire unless you're holding a flame to it.

It doesn't matter. Paper isn't any more flammable than many common household items anyways. I fail to see how a newspaper clipping could be a significant threat to your safety.

It's not going to spontaneously combust, I don't think. Put it where it won't get direct sun, that way it will last longer. And to be safe, put it away from furnace vents. Keep space heaters, candles and insense burners away, too.

Make a copy of it. The original is going to fall apart.

Haha, it's just as flammable as a poster.

But I DO recommend laminating it, to keep it in good condition.

You could take it to a copy store to have it copied onto photo stock, matte or glossy.
