You go into the classroom, take a seat, be polite, be yourself, and do what you are told. No teacher likes to see a smart mouthed kid on the first day. You know the kind that would stand with one foot in the door and one foot out and wait until the bell rang and then shout I'm not late to class?
Be yourself most of all, no teacher likes a kid acting unnatural and sucking up to them on the very first day. Actually, I don't think most teachers like this at any time.
And don't label yourself as a trouble maker. Do what you are told, do it promptly, and do it courteously. Don't roll your eyes when your teacher asks you to switch seats or to sit beside the "weird kid".

Try to be right on time. Listen carefully and be prepared. But especially when the class is over and your walking out the door grab a friend and really loudly say shes your favorite teacher.

I give them big smiles and like fold my hands together and knod (our other teachers reccomend that). I don't talk in class, and I raise my hands and they will normally like people who raise their hands whether you know the correct answer or not. At the end of class say "bye have a nice day".
Smiling is the key :)
Hope this helps!:):)

Show up on time, give eye contact, when she/he talks nod when they look at you to let them know you are comprehending the subject, participate in group sessions, don't be shy and don't be overpowering , don't be the one who has all the answers, show respect to them and all the other class mates, help other class mates if you see them struggling. So much you can do.

Participate in class and be on time. Other than that, don't try too hard. Teachers can smell it a mile away.
