Christ would not have smoked tobacco, because it is native to North America and was not imported to Europe and Asia until after the "New World" was colonized. Although Christ was a Semite and thus drank alcohol, He was surrounded by cultures who freely used Cannabis. Since the 60's, I've preferred to imagine Christ as an unrepentant pot-head.
